Is The Harbours really free?
Yes! You can browse communities, join harbours, and post content completely free. Premium plans unlock additional features like direct messaging, event creation, and family management.
How do I join a community?
Browse the Communities page or Explore tab to find harbours that interest you. Click into any community and tap "Join" to become a member.
How does the Family Plan work?
The Family Plan lets one paying parent manage up to 6 family members. Each person gets their own profile, posts, and friends — completely separate and private. Parents can monitor their kids' activity from the Family Management page.
Can I change my display name?
Yes! Go to your Profile page and tap the pencil icon next to your name. Your display name is what other members see — your real name stays private.
How do I report inappropriate content?
Every post has a flag icon. Tap it to report content that violates our community guidelines. Our moderation team reviews all reports.
How do I message someone?
Direct messaging is available on Supporter, Family, and Business plans. Once subscribed, go to the Messages page to start chatting.
